Limitations Repertory

Limitations Repertory.
Repertory does not and can not represent a material medica.
It is helpless in exbiting the context of a symptoms.
It can not come to help in emergency conditions for definite and immediate help,at that moment only Physicians experience helps.
It can not present philosophical and Constitutional traits. e.g.
Sulphur wants to convert Nat mur. Wants to reform, Lycopodium wants to execute, Phosphorus wants to impress, Lachesis wants to express, Ars Alb wants to dictate Sepia wants to bear, Pulsatilla wants to Obey and Nux vom wants to achieve.
It can not go deep into the symptoms of babies or unconscious people and uneducated people.
One has to look else where for cautions, relationship of remedies and personal specific experiences of the pioneers. It has no mention about patch up remedies as such.
It has been indicated by almost all our pioneers that being mechanical in our attitude leads us to dispair in Homoeopathy Dr. J.T.Kent reminds us that very few us that have been explored and proved in each kingdom. He further says that in each kingdom we have exact counter part of each sickness in human race. But he then observers that even among the so called proven medicines, many are only partially proved. Repertorising and computerising homoeopathy will be similar in our efforts when we practice religion and satisfy our self by hearing tapes of songs in praise of God for realizing the self
A case case of interview was published long back when a group of about one hundred graduate Physicians in Homoeopathy was interviewed and were asked as to their experience about the use of Repertory in their day to day practice. It was found that most of them did not possess a Repertory and those who possessed it never felt useful to consult it it reflects the practical aspect, which needs no elaboration.
