There are many different conditions that are recognized as mental illnesses.
Anxiety disorders people with anxiety disorders respond to certain objects or situations with fear and dread, as well as with physical signs of anxiety or panic such as a rapid heartbeat and sweating.An anxiety disorder is diagnosed if the person's response is not appropriate for the situation, if the person cannot control of the response, or if the anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, and specific phobias.
Mood disorders These , also called affective disorders, involve persistent feelings of sadness or periods of feeling overly happy, or fluctuations from extreme happiness to extreme sadness.The most common mood disorders are depression, bipolar disorder and cyclothymic disorder.
Psychotic disorders Psychotic disorders involve disorders are hallucinations the experience of images or sounds that are not real , such as hearing voices and delusions, which are false fixed beliefs that the ill person accepts ad true, despite evidence to the contrary. Schizophrenia is an example of a psychotic disorder.
Eating disorders involve extreme emotions, attitudes and behaviours involving weight and food.Anorexia nervosa , bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorders.
Impulse control and addiction disorders
People with impulse control disorders are unable to resist urges , or impulses, to perform acts that could be harmful to themselves or others.pyromania ( starting fires) kleptomania( stealing) and compulsive gambling are example control disorders. Alcohol and drugs are common object of addictions. Often people with these disorders become to involved with the objects of their addiction that they begin to ignore responsibilities and relationships.
Personality disorder people with personality disorder have extreme and inflexible personality traits that are distressing to the person and / or cause problems in work school,or social relationships.
Obsessive compulsive disorder(OCD) are plagued by constant thoughts or fears that cause them to perform certain rituals or routines . The disturbing thoughts are called obsessions and the rituals are called compulsions . An example is a person with an unreasonable fear of germs who constantly washes his or her hands .
Post traumatic stress disorder( PTSD) is a condition that can develop and/ or terrifying event, such as sexual or physical assault, the unexpected death of a liver ones or a natural disaster. People with PTSD often have lasting and frightening thoughts and memories of the event, and tend to be emotionally numb .
Mental illness Stress response syndrome occurs when a person develops emotional or behavioral symptoms in response to a stressful events or situation. Sexual disorders in women

Research suggests that the prevalence of sexual dysfunction in women in 25 to 60 percent, the average being 40 percent.
The exact incident is difficult to figure out since a large number of Cases go unreported. This may be due to the prevalent social stigma attached to sexual problems.
However with changing times, more and more women are open about their sexual problems, they have begun to seek treatment to address the issue.
Any problem that prevents a woman from experiencing sexual pleasure can be included under the umbrella term female dysfunction. Thus female sexual may include any of the complaints ranging from lack of sexual desire to absence of orgasm , or anything in between.
It is not unusual for women to experience painful sexual intercourse( dyspareunia) , but this again, is one of the problems that goes unreported.
The good news is understanding the problem communicating adequately with the partner and seeking prompt treatment can help such individuals.

Common causes of dyspareunia( painful intercourse) include.

Heel pain

The plantar fascia is a ligament that connects the heel to the toe
When excess stress is placed on the plantar fascia, one of the major transmitters of weight when walking there is trouble in the making.This is what heel pain is what heel is all about.
How and why
Heel pain or plantar fascitis is a common condition thst affects about 10 percent of the population..
As one gets older, the plantar fascia becomes less like a rubber band , and more like a rope that doesn't stretch well.The fat pad on the heel becomes thinner, it may not absorb as much shock caused by walking like before. The extra shock damages plantar , this may cause it to swell , tear or bruise   you will now detect a bruise , or swelling on your heel .
Symptoms& Diagnosis
Symptoms are typically worse, first thing In the morning, when the plantar fascia is taut , even simple  movements brings on pain. As the fascia loosen , the pain may subside , but can return after prolonged walking or standing .
When one has plantar fascitis, the planter fascia becomes inflamed and sore , making normal activity , or walking painful ..Other indications may be pain felt at the bottom of the heel , usually worse upon rising , or pain that increases over a period of time .

Male Infertility

Infertility refers to the inability of couples to achieve conception regular unprotected sexual intercourse for 1 year . It also includes the inability to carry a pregnancy to the delivery of a live baby.
Although some people still think of fertility as a woman's problem in 20 percent of infertility couples, the problem is solely with the male partner., Infertility in a man may be the only reason that a couple can't conceive, or it may simply add to the difficulties caused by infertility in his partner.
So it's crucial that men get tested fertility as well as women. it's also important that men do it early. Menstrual disorders

Monthly shedding of a woman's uterine linning.Though this can be uncomfortable and sometimes problematic, it is the body's way of signifying that the reproductive system is functioning properly.
It is common for women to experience menstrul cycle problems
Types
Premenstrual syndrome(PMS)
Is a combination of physical and emotional or mood , disturbances..It occurs after a woman ovulates and is followed by Menstruation..
Common symptoms include depression, irritability, crying, oversensitivity and mood swings.For some women, PMS symptoms can be controlled with lifestyle changes e.g. exercise, nutrition and family support.
Other symptoms include fatigue, gas breast tenderness( mastalgia) acne, and appitet changes with food cravings.
Painful periods( dysmenorrhea) or painful menses, is a common complaint. It may occur as a result of irregular contractions of the utrine muscles.It may have a hormonal basis in its order of development. The problem may be divided into the following categories.
Mechanical dysmenorrhea caused a result of utrine malfunction.
Congestive dysmenorrhea caused due to jamming in the pelvic organs.
Spasmodic dysmenorrhea caused due to contraction of the utrine muscles.
Heavy periods( menorrhagia) is a functional utrine bleeding, it may be caused owing to imbalance in the production of the two female hormones, oestrogen and progesterone. It may also occur due to the gradual failure of the ovarian function.This can sometimes cause excessive bleeding, extended and unusual bleeding, over a span of time, calls for proper clinical evaluation to rule out tumours in the uterus.
Amenorrhoea is lack of menses, or non occurrence of menstrul flow, in post pubertal women.It may also be related to defective ovarian function. This isn't, of course, the rule in all cases . For instance, amenorrhea during pregnancy is a natrul menstrual phenomenon. However an alarm alarm may be sounded when menses fails anytime between menarche , when it first begins and menopause, when it stops.
There are two forms of the disorder, primary and secondary. The former presents itself when menses have never occurred, the latter. when they have appeared, and are subsequently suppressed.
Primary amenorrhea may emerge when There are anatomical problems in the lower genital tract, for example absent uterus or imperforate hymen
Thyroidal problems may be another cause , as also organic diseases, for example, ovarian tumour . The problem may also erupt with no apparent cause. One may connect them to emotional or psychological underpinnings or distress. Other causes may include anaemia, malnutrition and Tuberculosis.
Symptoms are often variable. They may include headache, heaviness of limbs, respiratory distress, acidity or bloating , exhaustion, nosebleed ( vicarious Menstruation ) swelling if lower limbs and palpation.
Infrequent periods( Oligomenorrhea)
This may occur when Menopause approaches . In this condition, periods of normal duration occur less frequently than once every 26_28 days . For some women, infrequent periods are a norm this may be excess  discharge at the time of ovulation
Leucorrhoea may also be caused as a result of bacterial and fungal infection or from inflammatory or malignant( Tumour) changes in the uterus and fallopian or utrine, tubes .
Menopause The word , menopause refers to the permanent cessation of menses ages now days it  may start 30 years to 58 . It's either a result of a normal physiological event or a consequence of surgery or radiation therapy. Menopause may be divided into 1 physiological and 2 physiological Menopause. The former is related to the failure of ovarian function, the latter to the recognition of the fact that a woman's reproductive life is St it's concluding stage . Abundant use of anti Sycotic and intercurent remedies like Thuja, Sycotic-co , Graphites,Calc flr Calc Carb, Lapis albus , Silicea,Epihysterinum , Aurum Mur Nat , Carcinosinum , Vaccinum have been very useful to me for the same..
Remembering the fact that the choice of selection was purely on symptoms similarity and not using them empirically, the above diseases some times are difficult to treat with Homoeopathy and I had my fair if failures as diseases like skin tags , dermatofibroma etc, may sometimes take years to improve. Also, patients who suffer from skin tags should always be investigated for diabetes as within ten years of developing the skin tags, half of them become diabetic.

Acne or pimples is a common skin condition frequently seen in young individuals during teenage and youth years. This occurs mainly due to the action of hormones on the oil glands in the skin. The draining ducts of the oil glands get blocked and hence they are not able to drain the oil secretion. The oil and cells inside the blocked gland form a perfect environment for the growth of Propionibacterium acnes (the organism responsible for acne). Thus, it results in the formation of pimples or acne.

When our food is digest the glucose makes its way into our bloodstream. Our cells use the glucose for energy and growth . However. Glucose cannot enter our cells without Insulin being present Insulin makes it possible for our cells to take in the glucose.
Insulin is the hormone that is produced by pancreas . After eating, the pancreas automatically releases an adequate quantity of insulin to move the glucose present In our blood In to the cells, as soon as glucose enters the cells blood glucose levels drops .
A person with a diabetes has a condition in which the quantity of glucose is too elevated( hyperglycemia) This is because the body either does not produce enough insulin , produces no Insulin, or has cells that do not respond properly to the insulin the pancreas produces . This results in too much glucose building up in the blood . This excess blood glucose eventually passes out of the body in urine. There are three types of diabetes
Type 1
Type 1 diabetes, which used to be called juvenile diabetes, develops most often in young people, however, type 1 diabetes can also develop in adults, in type 1 diabetes body no longer makes Insulin or enough insulin, because the body's immune system, which normally protects from infection by getting rid of bacteria , viruses, and the other harmful substances, has attacked and destroyed the cells that make insulin.

A fungal infection is caused by a type of fungus.it infects the top layer of the skin, hair or nails.
Fungal infection of the skin are known as ringworm( Tinea)
There are many types of ringworm viz body ringworm( Tinea corporis) , jock itch( Tinea cruris) athlete's foot(  Tinea pedis) scalp Ringworm(Tinea Capitis) nail ringworm( Tinea Ungum) and quite uncommonly beard ringworm( Tinea Barbara).
Any one can get fungal infection of the skin.Jock itching is more common in males.
Scalp Ringworm is seen more often in children.
Fungal infection are caused by certain types of fungi that like warm moist areas of the skin such as between the toes or fingers, in the groin, and on other parts of the body where there are folds of the skin.Ring worm is nit caused by a worm.
The fungus can be carried by kitten and puppies, combs brushes pillows, and towels and is found in areas that favours dampness, such as damp house locker rooms and showers.

Symptoms
Ringworm manifest as a rash , with ring shaped pink or red patches and a clear midpoint.

Causes
Hereditary is one of the commonest cause . The genesis is the female hormones, oestrogen and progesterone, that manipulate the development of fibroids.
It is also surmised that this is one major reason why , fibroids shrink after menopause, as the body stops manufacturing these hormones.
Utrine fibroids are commonly seen in overweight, dark skinned women. Besides they are common in women, who have difficulty in conciveing.
Symptoms
Heavy menstrul bleeding and heaviness in the pelvic region or pain during sex . there may be Inc urine output with constipation. This may be accompanied by pain in legs and back . Utrine fibroids may also be associated with infertility or miscarriages.

Why human lost their penis bone

Scientists have discovered why humans do not have a penis bone, unlike chimpanzees, bears and most others mammals. Th penis bone, or baculum, first evolved in mammals around 145and 95 millions years ago, according to new research from university college London.
The study's lead author Matilda Brindle told the independent one of the reasons humans had lost their panis bone was because we do.not have sex for long enough to need one.The common ancestors of both primates and carnivores had a baculum she said.Humans are quite weird as we are one of the few primates that doesn't have  one .
Primates who mates for three minutes or more tend to have for longer penis bones than those whose intromission or vaginal penetration is below three minutes, she said. The human intromission duration tends to be two minutes, which most people wouldn't expect. In contrast the aye aye a nocturnal lemur , copulates for around an hat a time and has a very long baculum.
Brindle said longer penis bones were also seen in species with seasonal breeding and polygamous mating systems which humans generally do Not have. Polygamous mating systems are where multiple males and multiple females all mate with each other like,in chimpanzees, she said .
While polygamous mating does take place,among humans, it's not common enough to necessitate the retention of the penis bone.Other reasons for the lack of baculum in human is that the human mating system takes place throughout the year and is less competitive than that of other animals.
Chimpanzees, who only have sex, for around seven seconds at a time, have a very small baculum, suggesting that there might be evolutionary pressure among apes to lose the penis bone. However, the monkeys have a polygamous mating systems in which a female will mate with several males a day when she 's in heat . Male chimpanzees testicles are very large as they produce a lot of sprem to mate with several females.

A disease recognised by small white ulcers on the gums, lips and in the mucous membrane of the mouth. The best remedy is Sulphuric acid. If this fails Merc  or Sulph or Borax

Bread swelling
If Due to improper pressure Arnica 30 otherwise Cham.30
Bronchitis With fever Aconite and Ipc.
Child's Adenoid in most cases Tuber alone is sufficient.
Children craving for sugar or sweet in excess Merc .viv 6 C or Nat Phos 3x daily it will diminish such craving.
Child gasping through chord child at birth pale , breathless gasping though the chord still pulsates ,Anti tart .
Child not crying when born Give Laucrocerasus 6 and it works wonderfully.
Children vomiting habit. Iris vers 6 x twice daily.
Cleft lip This has to be repaired surgically but to prevent for the deliveries of such a child with such a defect the mother should take Calc sul 12x from 3rd month until the 7 th month.
Colic with flatulence and diarrhoea can easily be recognised by crying , twisting of the child, drawing of the legs and emissions of flatulence Cham is a specific remedy if there is greenish and watery diarrhoea constant crying distention of the abdomen and cold feet, China may be given if the colic occurs towards evening with hardness of abdomen, absence of stool or without stool or stool resembling stirred eggs, Pul, for flatulence, rumbling frequent shuddering, pale face and no thirst, Ipc for fermented diarrhoea, having a foul smell and the child utterly Violent and piercing cries for, frightful colicy children Nepeta cataria which is a children remedy is very useful.
Constipation of bottle fed babies Bryonia 30 or Nux vom 30 or Opium 30 . Changing the medicine only when no improvement takes place after second dose. For chronic constipation give Sulphur or Alumina. If baby has no evacuation give mother Bryonia or Nux vom or Ant crud or Opium according to symptoms.
Cough with loss of voice Suffocative breathing short and dry cough with loss if voice Hep should be given followed either by Hyso or Samb , Hep in the morning and Aconite St night.Dr. Saunder recommends Calc Phos 12x and Kali Sulph 12x alternate every hr. Breathing is rattling Spongia.
Crying baby not sleeping. Baby not sleeping day and night but cries, frets restless and plays all day, but screaming all night Psorinum.
Deafness with enlarged adenoids Deafness caused by eustachian catarrh in children enlarged adenoids Agraphis nutans 3 C
Deformities In all deformities of infant a few doses Sulphur 30 and Calc 30 may be given in alternation at fortnightly intervals. If the deformities of the bone then Silecea 200 may be given monthly.

Dentition If there is fever and cold during dentition then give Ferm Phos 12 x
Diarrhoea due to various causes.
Ipec 30 dissolved in half a cup of water give teaspoonful of this every 4 hrs. If this fails give Rhubarb if the evacuation and the child's whole body smells sour , if the child cries a good deal, draw's up legs with distention of bowels and frequent emissions of the flatulence then give Cham , Ant crud, if the tounge is coated white or yellow, Dulc, if the diarrhoea arises from cold or from exposure to cold air Bryonia if caused by summer heat greenish diarrhoea with frequent watery stools high fever restlessness and sleeplessness Cuphea , Bell . If the child sleeps a good deal but the sleep is restless with pale face, Sulphur, Calc or Nux vom in obstinate cases when nothing else will help, when there is fever with diarrhea then Aconite when caused by overloading of stomach with nausea and vomiting then Ipec , when due to fright then Opium and when with mucous stools with blood, then Merc C 6 chronic diarrhoea with vomiting Thyrodinum.

Ptosis

What is ptosis? Dropping of upper eyelids is known as ptosis, it is not a disease, but a symptom arising from various conditions,it can be one sided ( unilateral) or affect both sides ( bilateral) .It can be congenital ptosis arises mainly from one of the three reasons that includes weakness of muscles or swelling of the lid . Levator, palpebrae are the two muscles weakness in which causes ptosis. Nerve damage affects the oculomotor nerve, if not treated well in time, ptosis may lead to lazy eye or astigmatism.
Types of ptosis
Myogenic ptosis arises from muscles weakness.
Neurogenic ptosis arises from a problem in the nerve pathway controlling movement of the eye lid muscles.
Aponeurotic ptosis from Edna or tumor of the upper eyelids.
Neurotoxic ptosis caused by snake bites, cobra, kraits , and Taipans.

Necrosis of bone

Neurosis of bone of lower jaw particularly of lower jaw but also of other parts as vertebra and carries of tibia( Phos) Calc flour and Silicea to be given alternately to cure and check necrosis of bone.
Necrosis of bone of upper right jaw bone necrosis by Silicea Followed by Floric Acid and then Calc florica .
I have cured a case of bone Tuberculinum and caries of femur with Strontium Carb with 1 M potency and higher succesfully.

Femur

Femur.
The femur is the longest bone in the body. It articulates with the acetabulum in the formation of the hip joint, and form here bone inclines medially to the knees, where it articulates with the tibia. It is a long bone with a shaft and two extremities.
The upper extremity presents a head which forms two thirds of a sphere, at the summit of this is an avoid depression, a roughened pit, for the attachment of the ligamentum teres.. Below the head is the neck, which is long and flattened. Where the neck joins the shaft the greater trochanter lies to the outer side, and the lesser trochanter to the back and inner side. At the base of the neck of the bone, two lines unite the greater and lesser trochanters, the intertronchanteric line in front and the interchanteric crest at the back. The latter is marked by a tubercle of bone, the quadrate tubercle half way along its length.
If femur of head is necrosis the same remedies I have mentioned can be given.
Start with 200 potencies, and two doses of a single remedy must be given gap of four hrs. In a day, and one dose on the next day to avoid aggravation and Anaphylaxis shock. And go on higher potency after some time. If you are using 200 or higher potencies use two doses gap of four hrs and one dose of same potency next day.
When I started practice in 1970 after two yrs of my practice I lost my two patients in Anaphylaxis shock. I could not save them.
I gone through Organon of Dr.Hahnemann 5th edition and philosophy of Dr. J. T.Kent and this method to avoid aggravation and Anaphylaxis shock.

Effects .Some of the effects of the chicken pox are laryngitis or slight bronchitis, pox on conjunctiva, acute nephritis, arthritis etc.though the complications are generally rare in children.
As a preventive, Aconite 30 twice daily may be administered whenever a case of chicken pox is reported in the neighborhood.. In case of intense itching and burning, olive oil may be applied or the white sandalwood paste should be applied externally on the eruptions. Dr.Clarke recommends the application of camphorated oil (Camphora dr I,Ol Olive dr iv) to the pocks with a camel hair brush.
Homoeopathic treatment Normally very little medication will be required for the treatment of the disease. However, in the early stages of the disease when it takes a serious turn, some of the Homoeopathic medicines may be required.
Ant crud Fever with nausea, vomiting and thickly coated white tongue. The child is extremely irritable and fretful and cannot bear to be touched or looked at. Cough and bronchitis.
Ant tar This is one of the chief remedies for the chicken pox when the fever is attended with convulations or the eruptions are delayed or receding and are blue in color. The child is drowsy, weak and sweaty and has a coated pasty and thich tongue. The face is pale and covered with cold sweat. One of the important symptoms of this remedy is that there is incessant quivering of chin and lower jaw. This remedy is specially indicated when the chicken pox is associated with bronchitis and other chest trouble. The child has thirst for cold water, little and often and desire for apple, fruits and acids..
Apis .This is indicated when there is an excessive itching of the skin, puffy swelling of the eyelids which is aggravated by slightest heat or warmth. There is thirstlessness along with scanty high color urine.
Belladonna' When the febrile condition is accompanied by severe headache. The child has flushed face, red eyes, and hot skin usually without any thirst.
Gel  This remedy should be thought of the onset of fever the child is dull, delirious and dizzy pain in the occipital region thirstlessnees.
Merc Sol  when the vesicles suppurate or the disease takes a turn towards gangrenous type, bloody and slimy stools and when the painful ulcers form in the mouth and there is fetid odour from the mouth.
Rhu tox .  This is one of the chief remedies for chicken pox when there is intense itching and burning. This remedy if given in the first stage often arrests the progress, shortens the period of suffering.
Sulphur. Intense itching and burning frequent flashes of the heat, great redness of the lips and around the anus. This remedy is also useful when the careful selected remedies fail to act.

Winter has brought in an unusual deluge of chicken pox,usually it comes in the months of March and April, but in Mumbai daily 10_15 cases are reported in civic hospitals.
What is Chicken pox?
Chicken pox or Vericella is an acute infectious disease characterised by rash which appears in crops and disappears in a few days by desiccation and scab formation. It is an extremely common infection affecting infants and children practically during all seasons of the year, and mostly in the months of March and April. It is uncommon in children above 10 years of age and probably significant percentage of children in the urban cities are effected.
Causes .The exciting cause of the disease is a volatile filtrable virus which is found in a patient's blood and in the contents of the vesicles during the outbreak of the eruptions. Infections in most cases is by direct droplets spray, but articles of clothing may remain infectious for a long time and the disease is sometimes carried by a healthy intermediary. In fact the infection is contagious from the very first hr of the eruption as such it is difficult to control its spread. The occasional development of Chicken pox in children exposed to herps zoster suggest that the two diseases are different manifestation of the same viral infection.
Incubation period 14 to 16 days
Period of communicability one day before appearance of rash and no longer than 6  days after appearance of the first vesicle..
When child can mix with other children and return to school. 7 days onset of rash, Crust is not infectious like in Small pox.
Symptoms. The onset of disease is sudden with slight fever and simultaneous appearance of eruptions which is maculo papular from a pin head to lentil size. In exceptional cases, in children vomiting and convulations may occur. The eruptions first appear on the trunk and then on the limbs and face and the distribution of the lesions is chiefly centripetal and not centrifugal as in case of Small pox .    ...             Contd.

Psora Is that most ancient,most universal,most destructive and yet most misapprehended chronic Miasmatic disease which for many thousands of years has disfigured and tortured mankind.Psora is the oldest Miasmatic chronic disease known to us.The most ancient history of the most ancient people does not reach to it's origin.
The external horrors of the Psora(leprosy) with the space of several centuries were as last so far moderated that,at the end of fifteen century,it appeared only in the form of common eruption of itch.
No other chronic Miasma infects more generally,more surely,more easily and more absolutely than the Miasma of itch ,as already stated,it is the most contagious of all .It is communicated so easily that even the Physician hurring from one patient to another,infeeling the pulse has unconsciously inoculated other patients with it,wash which is washed with wash infected with the itch.new gloves which had been tried on by an itch patient,a strange towel used for drying oneself have communicated this tinder of contagion,often a babe , when Being born,is infected with this disease,or the babe receives this unlucky infection through the hand of the midwife.

( The above oberservations can't stand true today to the tune they have been described above.The verdict that no prince in the palace or a hermit in the cave can be without Affection of Psora dose not get any verification from ancient literature or in practical life.)

Permanent cure
Permanent cure has been mentioned by Dr.Hahnemann through Homoeopathy.
There are many ifs and buts mentioned in the Organon about a cure . Also It is not practical because diseases occur from various causes and once the causes reoccur the diseases are also likely to be checked By a single cure at a particular time.

Diet and mode of living
The Homoeopathic practitioner must yield to circumstances in his prescription as to diet and mode of living,and in doing so ,he will much more surely,and therefore more completely,reach the aim of healing than by an obstinate insistence on stric rules , which in many cases cannot be obeyed.
Hahnemann also indicates that any sort of diet arrangement can not be able to cure a disease without the aid of well selected homoeopathic medicine..

The above oberservations can't be accepted in Toto today, because the importance of diet and mode of living have been realized all over the world.

Cautions while taking medicine
After taking the medicine the patient should keep perfectly quite at least a full hr, but without going to sleep as ( sleep delays the beginning of the action of the remedy.)
Such Cautions cannot be practical in present day life,also It is not a reality that sleep disturbs the action of the remedy.

Curability of the Diseases
The cure of great chronic diseases of ten twenty,thirty or more year's standing(If they not been mismanaged by an excess of allopathic treatments,or indeed as is often the case mismanaged into incurableness ) may be said to be quickly annihilated If this is done in one or two yrs.

This view also cannot be hold good today.Present day experiences and findings show many incurable diseases are being cured by homoeopathic and non-homoeopathic remedies even in above conditions.

Myself as is seldom the case have never been afflicted with the Psora,and therefore from My birth even until now In my seventies yrs been entirely free From the( smaller and greater) ailments enumerated here and further below,although I have been,on the whole,very apt to catch acute epidemic diseases,and have been exposed to many mental exertion and thousand fold vexations of spirit.

Hernias are usually associated with adults but common in Newborns as well. A fact that many parents aren't aware about .The good part, though is that once detected early treatment can take care of this ailment effectively. The incident of inguinal hernias in Newborns can be high as 15% but in premature babies can go as high as 25% .there are other hernias like umblical hernias as well as diaphragmatic hernias where the intestines pass through a hole in the diaphragm ( that is the partition between the chest with heart and lungs, and the abdomen with intestines, liver, kidneys etc) and intestines go into the chest causing a problem with the lungs and shifting of the heart. Hernia is basically a defect or weakening in the muscles layers at various possible sites in the body leading to protrusion of inner body contents.
In boys the testis is formed in the abdomen and descends down into the scrotum, for this to happen a passage is first created and the testis comes down through the passage and subsequently the passage closes automatically. In case the passage remains open, the intestines also comes down into the inguinal and scrotal region This is a hernia. In girls, a similar mechanism exists for the ligaments of the uterus, which comes into the inguinal region and gets attached to the public bone at the symphysis. If the passage remains open after the ligament has come through, the intestines come into the inguinal region causing Hernia. Diaphragmatic hernias occurs because of delay in closure of the natural hole between the chest and abdomen and allows intestines and even the liver and spleen to go up into the chest.

Some diagnostic tips

If the patient is only tired without guiding symptoms one may think that it is liable to termination in some grave disorder, Tuberculosis, Bright's disease, Cancer or the like.
The cause of syncope are most often other than heart Diseases and that too very rarely due to organic heart disease, with rare exceptions, patients with heart disease rarely faint.
Coldness of one foot suddenly occuring after an operation may be a sign of a silent heart attack. The coldness is the result of a circulatory block in the leg, caused by blood clot carried from the heart. Whenever a person suddenly develops a coldness of one foot 4 to 22 days after surgery, silent myocardial infarction should be considered. Patient should be questioned daily about the presence of pain, coldness in the foot and calf.
A large liver, jaundice and a normal spleen point to gallstones or cancer but if the spleen is also enlarged it suggest Cirrhosis of liver or portal obstruction. A very enlarged spleen with but slightly enlarged liver suggest some of the blood diseases and needs blood examination.
No head injury is so slight that it should be neglected, or so severe that life should be despaired of.
It is very rare to find a clean tounge in a case of acute obstructive Appendicitis.

Limitations Repertory

Repertory does not and can not represent a material medica.
It is helpless in exbiting the context of a symptoms.
It can not come to help in emergency conditions for definite and immediate help,at that moment only Physicians experience helps.
It can not present philosophical and Constitutional traits. e.g.
Sulphur wants to convert Nat mur. Wants to reform, Lycopodium wants to execute, Phosphorus wants to impress, Lachesis wants to express, Ars Alb wants to dictate Sepia wants to bear, Pulsatilla wants to Obey and Nux vom wants to achieve.
It can not go deep into the symptoms of babies or unconscious people and uneducated people.
One has to look else where for cautions, relationship of remedies and personal specific experiences of the pioneers. It has no mention about patch up remedies as such.
It has been indicated by almost all our pioneers that being mechanical in our attitude leads us to dispair in Homoeopathy Dr. J.T.Kent reminds us that very few us that have been explored and proved in each kingdom. He further says that in each kingdom we have exact counter part of each sickness in human race. But he then observers that even among the so called proven medicines, many are only partially proved. Repertorising and computerising homoeopathy will be similar in our efforts when we practice religion and satisfy our self by hearing tapes of songs in praise of God for realizing the self
A case case of interview was published long back when a group of about one hundred graduate Physicians in Homoeopathy was interviewed and were asked as to their experience about the use of Repertory in their day to day practice. It was found that most of them did not possess a Repertory and those who possessed it never felt useful to consult it it reflects the practical aspect, which needs no elaboration.

Frostbite when there is freezing of the soft tissue with local deprivation of blood supply.
The ear, nose, checks, fingers and toes are most often affected. Any part of the body getting wet, strong winds and poor general health predispose to frostbite. Cold temperatures lead to contraction of the arterioles, later to dilatation of the capillaries and last of all to the freezing of the parts. The affected part first appears cold and bluish red then as freezing sets in it becomes white, waxy, and numb there is erythema edema vesicles and bullae, superficial gangrene, deep gangrene and I jury to muscles tendons periosteum and nerves. Bed rest and high protein and high calorie diet should be given do not rub or massage the part. Recovery takes months short and remedy and deep acting Constitutional remedy is to be prescribed.

About half of all herpetic patients aged over 60 develop post herpetic neuralgia. The pain and the burning continue for months or even years thereafter.
Homoeopathic medicines are given according to each patient's symptoms on an individual basis.
Varilolinum This internal vaccine should be given to all those who have just recovered from Chicken pox, whether a child or an adult. Varilolinum 200 ,5 pills thrice a day, once a week for a month, should be given after an episode of Chicken pox in your house or neighbour hood, or if you have already suffered from it and want to avoid or minimise the attack of herpes zoster take Varilolinum 200c thrice a day once a week for a month. Varilolinum is a vaccine prepared from the lymph of chicken pox pustules.
Hypericum This is the most important remedy for nerve injury because in herpes too the nerves are affected and inflammed Hypericum 1m 5 pills every two hrs. Till the pain subsides.
Mezerinum This is indicated when there is herpes rash on the forehead or near the eyes with big yellowish pustules. When these pustules dry up they leave behind big scabs with thick yellowish pus underneath them. There is severe pain in the eyeball along with a chill and sensitivity to cold air. The patient wants to keep himself in a warm room because the slightest draft of air brings on shooting pain. Mezerinum 200 5pills every two hrs helps.
Chamomilla 200 This is indicated when there is extreme mental irritability after the herpes rashes great restlessness and impatient. The patient is very snappy and wants to continuously move from one place to another. A cold room cold compresses and cold air give slight relief these people have a very low threshold of bearing pain. 5 pills every hr makes all the difference in such a cases
Ars Alb indicated when severe burning pain remains after the rash has subsided and the patient wants constant hot fomentation on that area. Only heat gives temporary relief from the burning pain. Ars Alb 200 is best given 5 pills every two hrs.
Coffea Indicated when there is great restlessness of mind along with post herpetic pain. Any emotional change brings on an attack of pain. An excess of joy or sorrow, a flow of ideas or even a change in emotions can trigger off the pain. Mental activity causes sleeplessness. The pain is relieved by cold compresses give coffea 200 ,5 pills every two hrs .
Patients suffering from shingles often want to know whether they are apt to have another attack, or whether the first one confers immunity. In most viral infections a single exposure does confer life long protection, but in shingles (and herpes) ,recurrence of symptoms may not be due to reinfection but due to the reactivation of a virus that is already present in the body Therefore, repeated episodes of shingles can and do occur, although not nearly as frequently as in herpes simplex. As I said earlier prevention can best be achieved by the Homoeopathic vaccine VARILOLINUM.

Ordinary people understand cure to be a disappearance of the diseases symptoms., or in other words, if symptoms in any particular case disappeared after administration of the medicine, it is cure if the patient does not die and if the disease symptoms have been made to disappear, cure is said to have been made to disappear, cure is said to have been effected. No matter even if other symptoms is then pointed out as a separate disease having no concoction with the first set, but this is a tremendous mistake. The symptoms are only the expression of the disease and that they are only the expression of the disease and they are not the disease itself. But homoeopathy aims at restoring the sick man to health. It is only the patient that is all for the HOMOEOPATH and to him disease is nothing more than a manifestation of the patient 's condition and if the patient can be corrected, the manifestation is bound to disappear, but if the manifestation only is corrected the patient is not necessarily corrected and cured. The Allopathic physician says I have cured the fever and if there is asthma now, it is a different thing and it has to be treated in its turn. It has to be treated separately.
Man is not an automation like an engine or a clock. Man is an organism, and any disorders in any part of him is not confined to that part alone as a disorder or derangement in a clock or an engine. Any disorder in any part of the man is a disorder of the whole organism and that disorder can and  be corrected only if the whole organism is corrected. The disordered man cannot be corrected only in the part disordered just as the disordered clock or engine is corrected in the particular part. Thus a disorder In any particular part of the man, that is to say a disease relates to the whole man, and it can be cured only if the whole man and it can be cured only if the whole man is cured.
It is there fore idle to effect a cure a restoration of the whole man in his normal condition by simply removing the disease, the mere appearance of it in the physical body and to effect a cure, you have there fore to correct the fountain from which the disease is coming that is to say you have to correct the mind. If the disordered mind is brought into order no further disorder is transmitted to the body but instead order that was transmitted to it will gradually die out. This is cure. It begins in the mind and it then comes to the body. If however the bodily disorder disappear first, without there being a corresponding disappearance of the mental disorder take it not true cure that has been effected. Let me tell a case A Lawyer's wife 5th months pregnant was suffering from fever and diarrhea. She was treated by several allopaths and after two months when she was 7th month pregnant she aborted and her condition became alarming they came to me at this stage but from the condition of the patient I could not hold much hope the husband.  I gave her acid mur as indicated by symptoms and almost all the physical symptoms improved in a day, 's time but there was no improvement in the mind I could see the patient not feeling easy in her mind. Her family members were all glad on the physical improvement but I was compelled to say that, that was not improvement as mental had not improved. And the patient died the next day. There was no mistake to selection but yet patient did not live. The fact is that the improvement had not commenced in the mind and such no cure was coming, but only a disappearance of the disease of the symptoms.

Use if Chloral

Use of Chloral Hydrate in Lethargic Somnolency.
A lady about forty five years of age, fresh looking and the mother of a family, was the subject of remark of her friends, on account of her lethargy and sleepiness.Her weakness was such that even crossing the street was almost impossible.She was almost constantly asleep,she would get up in the morning after s good night's rest and even , while dressing she  seemed compelled to sit down and no sooner seated but would fall a sleep.Thus state of things went on for weeks and months, and her allopathic adviser did his best in vain .Ater she came under my treatment I tried first Arnica and then Opium,with but indifferent success, when all at once I bethought me of the great similarity of the case before me to that of a confirmed old chloraleater of my clientele.
Chloral in low dilution cured my patient and she again became brisks active and wide awake.
No. 2 An elderly lady came under my care on April 21 St 1881 for lethargy, languor and, somnolence.
R Tri.2x Choral hyrat 6 grains in water every Three hrs .May 7 th under this date I find these notes in my case book, feels a different creature, vastly improved,less lethargic and decidedly less languid.
She then got the third decimal tri.in lieu of the second,and the two doses a day and then needed no further treatment, as she subsequently informed me when calling with her husband.
Now u can see what I mean .I had before me cases that would not readily fit into my nosological cadet, and yet I was enabled to treat the case en maitre .This is therapeutics independence which I love and affords, as I submit a Very sound reason indeed for being sound reason indeed for being a Homoeopath.

Allergic Shock

The word allergy was rarely used when I started practice. It is very much in vogue now. I had extremely bad experience where a single dose of 200 potency repeated on the tenth day killed the child with no other explainable reason. When this happened again( though not fatal) I studied various books to find out reasons. I found that similar thing was mentioned with repeating of anti tetanus serum, it sometimes killed, and this was henceforth avoided by repeat dose early( say within a week) .
I have not claimed this method as originated by me but I am extremely happy that almost all practitioners started using this method. Maybe they got the idea from some other source. Dr.Margaret Tyler used to give 1m potency daily dose for 4 days and stop. This does work beautifully. Where i want a powerful action. I give three doses on the first day, 2 doses on the second day and 1 dose on the third day.These doses seem to work as a single dose.
Dr.Gallavardin used a special technique of using high potencies in the cure of chronic cases of alcoholism.Insanity and other psychological problems.He studied the patient carefully and decided to use a series of remedies all deep antipsorics , antisycotics and so on , and administered them serially in high potencies at intervals of 30 to 40 days. A remedy was hardly given twice in that long period of treatment. It was like the suggested Sulphur,Calc Carb and Lycopodium by the early masters . It was as if the next remedy carried on or continued th action of the previous remedy..
What we do when every dose seems to aggravate especially indelicate patients, week Children? Hahnemann and others have advised using a very diluted , small dose, dissolve a few pellets in glass of water. Stir nicely . From this take two or three teaspoonful and mix in the next glass ful of water . Stir well usually this diluted dose a teaspoonful per dose of this solution acts very soothingly.
