Tiredness

Tiredness.
Tiredness is disturbing because often it can not be explained, sometimes, however one, knows the reasons. Chronic tiredness may have underlying chronic diseases like anaemia, hypoglycemia (low bl sugar threshold) ,thyroid gland disorder or Diabetes or even major illnesses like Tuberculosis and malignancy. Once we know the cause it is much easier to tackle the problem.
Tiredness can't be termed a disease but a reflection of symptoms from within the body. There can be many reasons for it. Some physical and other mental. Being tired has killed no one,through it does prevent one from enjoying good health. Chronically tired people lack the energy to do the things they enjoy doing.Hence they are irritable most of the time..
Once we know that there is no major disease causing the lethargy, then before starting any medicene the following action should be taken.
Fittenes diet.
Ten to twelve glasses of water should be consumed at different intervals, so also lots of vegetables, seasonal fruit, grams, peanuts a few almonds, oats porridge in the morning with milk or water and one or two glasses of skimmed milk. Eat small quantities at short intervals. Remember don't fill your stomach completely because in order to digest the food the blood supply to the stomach increases and you may, as a result, feel drowsy and lethargic and want to sleep.
Skipping meals doesn't help reduce wait effectively. People who skip breakfast are less agile and slow in their work. A well balanced healthy breakfast produce stamina.
Avoid or minimise the intake of high fat food like chocolate, fried food, sweets and too much meat. The intake of coffee and tea should be controlled because they contain toxic waste products like urea, Uric Acid, cholesterol and triglycerides which bring down the sharpness of body and mind.
This is potent weapon to combat tiredness. Walking, jogging, cycling, running and swimming are very effective aerobic exercises They help in increasing your blood circulation which brings nutrients and oxygen to the muscles and other organs of the body and sweeps away fatigue causing waste products such as Carbondioxide and lactic acid. Acne vulgaris
Acne is chronic inflammatory disease of the pilosebaceous follicles. It is characterized by the formation of comedones, erythematous papules and pustules, less frequently by nodules or pseudocysts and, in some cases is accompanied by scarring.
The pathogenesis involves four major factors
Increased sebum production
An abnormality of the microbial flora.
Cornification of the pilosebaceous duct.
Production of inflammation.
The condition usually starts by the mid twenties. Acne incidence increased during puberty is due to the increased sebaceous activity. Acne develops earlier in females than in males which may reflect the earlier onset of puberty, but it usually is some what severer in boys. In twenties it gradually decreases and it again seen specially in women after the age of 26 or so.
Common occurance of acne at puberty is because of increased production of sex hormones, which makes the sebaceous glands hyperactive. Sebaceous activity is predominantly dependent on androgenic sex hormones of gonadal or Adrenal origin. Because of a deficiency in sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) androgen and progesterone are responsible for hyperplasia of the oil gland (eunuchs do not have oily skins) there is general agreement that plasma testosterone levels are not abnormally high in males with acnes..

Impetigo

Impetigo.
It is contagious superficial pyogenic infection of the Skin.Two main clinical varieties known are non bullous impetigo and bullous impetigo.
Impetigo Contagiousa
The causative organism are mainly pyogenic staphylococcui less so streptococcus pyogenes.
It is relatively frequent through out the world and is frequent in template climates.The peak seasonal incidences are seen in late summer.preschool and young school age children are most often affected.In adults males predominate.
Over crowding , poor hygiene and existing skin disease especially scabies,predispose to infection.
Impetiginazation is the name given to the process where impetigo Contagiousa occurs,secondarily as a complicating factor in scabies pediculoses , eczemas,seborrheuic dermatitis and herpes simplex.
Infection is transmitted by contact with any individual carrying pyogenic organism,directly or through towels,handkercheifs etc.The sites of predilection are the exposed regions of the body,especially of the face and sclap though it can occur on any part of the body.
The incubation period is two to three days.
In impetigo Contagiousa,initial lesion Is a very thin walled vesicles on an erythematous base.The vesicles ruptures so rapidly that It is seldom seen as such.The exuding serum dries to form yellowish brown honey colored crust.This characteristic crust is the most important diagnostic features of impetigo Contagiousa.The crust is usually thicker and dirtier in the streptococcal forms .Gradual irregular peripheral extension occurs without central healing , and multiple lesions , which are usually present,may coalesce The crusts eventually dry and separate to leave erythema,which fades without scarring .In severe Cases there may be regional adenitis with Fever and other Constitutional symptoms.The face especially around the nose and mouth, and the limbs are the sites most commonly affected but involvement of the sclap is frequent in tinea Capitis and lesions may occur Any where on the body,espicially in children with atopic dermatitis or scabies.Involvement of the mucous membranes is rare . There's a tendency to spontaneously cure in 2-3 weeks but a prolonged course is common,particularrly In the presence of underlying parasitic infestation or eczema,or in hot and humid climates.In heavily pigmented skin , temporary hypopigmentation or hyperpigmentation may follow the lesions.

Care after delivery

There are times after delivery when mother may develop minor or major complications.
Pain due to episiotomy
During normal child birth an incision is made near the vaginal area to widen the passage for the baby. After the birth this passage is stitched up. At times women develop severe pain in these stitches from which Arnica 200, five pills alternately with Hypericum 200, 5 pills four times a day, will bring great relief. These two medicines also help in hastening the healing process. Externally Calendula lotion should be applied. It has proved to be one of the best antiseptic ointments.
The above mentioned medicines, both internal and external should also be given in case of vaginal tears. These take place when there is no facility for episiotomy, if the baby is large or care is not taken.
Anxiety
Being anxious during pregnancy and at the time of child birth is a very normal feeling. After delivery the anxiety vanishes on it's own. But certain mothers sometimes don't get over this phase easily. They continue being anxious, worried and apprehensive, thus spoiling their health as well as their child. Kali phos 6 x is one of the best and mildest tranquillisers. It soothes the nerves and removes anxiety without causing any side effects either to the mother or the child while it is being breast fed.?
At times Kali phos 6 x is not sufficient and another remedy may be required.
Coffea is another medicine which should be given if the mother has been found to be over anxious regarding the sex of the child. There have been examples of mothers so anxious to have a son after having two or three daughters that even after delivering the desired son their anxiety increases instead of subsiding. Coffea 200 C potency five pills four times a day will provide the necessary calm.
Drugs and anaesthetics
Some women are given strong medicines during pregnancy for various ailments. And these continue even after Childbirth. These drugs have side effects not only on the mother but also on their infant who is depending on mother for milk. In homoeopathy there are certain antidotes to these strong drugs. Nux vom 6 c potency 5 pills four times a day, will help the system to get rid of these toxins.
It is also common for many women to go for anaesthesia in order to reduce the pain. As a result, severe nausea or vomiting sometimes persists. For this Phosphorus 200 C, 5 pills four times a day, will help.
Forceps & Caesarean.
Certain complications may occur during delivery for which forceps or Caesarean Section may have to be resorted to. Staphysagaria 200 C potency, 5 pills alternately with Arnica 200 C potency every two hours will heal the cut and also help in strengthening the muscles and tissues which have taken a bad beating during the whole process. Staphysagaria helps In healing the wound most natural way by promoting granulation tissues which are supposed to join the separated parts of the muscles and tissues.
Teeth and Calcium deficiency
During pregnancy, the Child is growing in the mother's womb requires all the basic nourishment. One of the ingredients a child needs the most is calcium. If during the course of the pregnancy the mother has not taken care of her food and nourishment, then it starts showing on her body by weakening the teeth, resulting in gaps between them, and the long bones start paining, especially in the night after a hard day's work. For this Calc phos 6 x is the best tonic available. The biochemic Calcarea Phosphate gets completely absorbed and does not create any side effects (like kidney stones etc) as do other calcium tablets.

Varicose Veins
Due to the extra weight carried during pregnancy the blood vessels of the legs lose their elasticity. These varicose Veins cause a lot of pain and discomfort. If you have put on lots of weight during pregnancy please try and reduce it as quickly as possible, and raise your legs by keeping a piloow under them at night. Avoid standing for long periods. Phosphorus, Calc flour, Arnica and Hamamelis are the main remedies given to each individual's symptoms.
Remember, in many cases the Veins return to normal soon after delivery. So don't panic, be patient.
Urinary infection
Many time during the act of labour the doctor passes a thin rubber tube
(catheter) through the vagina into the bladder to deflate it and remove any residual urine. This helps in further widening the passage for the child. But the catheter may also introduce infection because conditions during labour are not very aseptic, and this infection of urination and repeated attacks of cold and fever. Milk glands abscess
At times of milk causes enlargement of the breasts and may cause a lot of pain and discomfort. A pump should be used to remove excess milk. Gentle massage also helps. In the last stage of cancer, if we find a dark red color to the tounge it tells us that there is an imperfect oxidation of the blood. This is an unfavourable symptom in cancer. The dirty, yellow coating on the tounge in cancer has a similar significance as it speaks very plainly of impaired digestion.
If you find transverse or perpendicular fissures on the tounge you may be positive that your patient has some form of kidney trouble which needs attention. Thrombocytopenia

Thrombocytopenia is a condition in which the blood has lower than normal number of blood cell fragments called platelets.
Platelets are made in bone marrow along with other kinda of blood cells. They are colourless cells which travel through blood vessels and stick together. (clot) to stop any bleeding that may happen if a blood vessel is damaged. Platelets also called thrombocytes because a clot also is called a thrombus.
When the blood has a few platelets, mild to serious bleeding can occur. Bleeding can occur inside the body (internal bleeding) or underneath the skin or from the surface of the skin (external bleeding)
A normal platelets count in adults ranges from 150,000 to 450,000 platelets per microliter of blood. A platelet count of less than 150,000 platelets per microliter is lower than normal. If the blood platelet count falls below normal, this condition known as Thrombocytopenia.
Signs and symptoms
Superficial bleeding into the skin that appears as rash of pinpoint sized reddish purple spots (petechiae) usually on the lower legs.

Vomiting

Vomiting is the vigorous expulsion of the stomach contents through the mouth. It is often preceded by nausea, or felling of sickness in the stomach, and by the urge to vomit.
Anybody can,at any time experience nausea and vomiting.
Nausea and vomiting arise when the vomiting centre in the brain is aroused by the following triggers.
Overeating
Contaminated food
Too much alcohol
Food allergies
Medications, or illness.
Some people also complin of what is called motion sickness and vomiting, while travelling in a bus , car ship or airplane.
Besides this, nausea and vomiting are common in the early stages of pregnancy ( morning sickness).
Migraine headaches too cause nausea and vomiting.
Other causes include gallstones
Intestinal obstruction
Gastroenteritis.
Inflammation of the stomach
Nausea and vomiting may also be a result of psychological triggers as well , example include stress and fear or blumia ( deliberate, or induced to lose weight)

Drunkenness Homoeopathic remedies.

ByIn the books Homoeopathic Therapeutics I find recommended, on the strength of the Homoeopathic theory, more than forty remedies for drunkenness which may be efficacious if they are indicated by the totality of the somatic and physical symptoms in the person to be treated. But not being able as yet to make their differential indications throughly precise , I will now mention the remedies, which as the result of clinical experience, seem to be the most efficacious. Nux vom
Violent people, often cross, and whom sorrows or cares lead to drink as a means of forgetting and who spit frequently, or mild temperd people, kind and affectionate in their ordinary condition, who while drinking, become brutal even to striking, Insulting, sometimes weeping. Tendency to jealousy to, suicide by shooting or stabbing, before and during drunkenness.Inclination to sadness or to great genital excitement during drunkenness. Easily made drunk by a small quantity of alcoholic drink.Longing for red wine , white wine, beer absinth, rum ,persons inclined to get drunk for lack of anything else to do , neurotic men , and women addicted to drunkenness during or after pregnancy. Licentious, but only in imagination, still sometimes even in the urgent cases.Sometimes really immoral, mania for refusing treatment even in urgent cases. Sometimes thieving and shrewed, inclined to constipation, to vomiting, to regurgitationsb, to difficult digestion. Using tobacco inclined to gamble, spending their entire wealth little by little. Spending through ostentation, close toward his family, open handed to strangers, avoiding any society but his own family.

Tinnitus

Tinnitus is ringing, swishing, or any other type of noise that originates in the ear or head. In most instances tinnitus may not be serious problem. It is an annoyance at best that slowly resolves. However in certain instances, it may be a symptom of an underlying problem.
About 33 percent of the world population suffers from tinnitus. In almost all cases the problem is subjective only the individual hears the clatter.
Tinnitus can affect the outer ear, the middle ear and the inner ear. Sometimes the noise in the ear may be a normal phenomenon.When the person go into a soundproof area or office where the normal outside noise is reduced person may become more receptive to normal sounds.
Tinnitus may sometimes due to a problem in the brain or wax or foreign body in the external ear that may obliterate background sounds. When this happens one becomes more aware of the sounds in their own head.
Other causes include fluid retention in the ear or infections or disease of the middle ear bones and the ear drum. Night Terrors

Night terrors are Sudden, dramatic interruptions during a child's sleep. During a night terror a child looks frightened and may screams or thrash violently. His pupils may be wide, breathing and heartbeat may be very rapid. Often a child with night terrors does not respond when his parents try to offer comfort. After about 5to 10 minutes the episode usually ends and the child may not remember anything at all about this incident.
About 1 to 5 percent children suffer from night terrors especially boys between the age of 5to 7 years.Sometimes these terrors run in families and are occasionally triggered by a fever. Although a few children with night terrors have emotional problems most do not and their terrors stop by the time they are teenagers. About one third also have problems with sleep walking.
No one knows why but most night terrors happen between midnight and 2 am . Suddenly your sleeping child will scream or cry, move violently and look very scared. He will seem confused and disoriented and may even complaint of seeing things that are not there. Breathing is very rapid and his heart will pound but no matter how hard you try to console, he probably won't respond. Soon he will fall asleep again without ever remembering the episode.
Although frightened child may seem to be totally alert, he is really more asleep than awake. Turn on.lights in the room and talk to him calmly. Touch him gently and try to pacify him. If he is thrashing violently, move him away from sharp objects and bed corners. If he is sleep walking guide him back to bed but don't try to wake him up. For the sake of safety, if child has night terrors and sleeps in a bunk bed, move him to the bottom bunk. To prevent midnight accidents clear away the toys from the floor near your child's bed and put appropriate coverings

Testicular Torsion

Testicular torsion is a rare but profound medical emergency, and this condition while ralativly rare does occur in male atheletes most often in adolescents boys.
The testicles ( or tests) develop in the abdominal cavity and shortly before birth pass downward through the inguinal canal to rest the loose sack of skin called the scrotum. The testicles are oval shaped structures encased in a tough, fibrous that contains the fine tubes in which the sperm are formed.Nature in her infinite wisdom has made one testicle usually the left to hang lower than its neighbour, so that the two organs slide laterally whenever the man walks, runs or sits thereby avoiding a painful collision. On the outer upper side of each testicle is a tightly coiled tube, the epididymis that stores maturing sperm for a period of ten days.The epididymis is sometimes subject to inflammation.from the epididymis runs the vas deferens the main spermatic channel that runs up into the abdomen.
In testicular torsion the testis twists on its chord.either spontaneously ( without apparent cause) or through strenuous physical activity. This is one of the reasons all male atheletes should wear an athelitic supporter. However it's not at all uncommon for young and adolescent atheletes to forgeo the jock strap in gym class and organized sporting activities and almost certainly in playground activities.

Years ago people used to put a leach in black eye to suck out the blood says dr. Jack Jeffers, an opthalmologist at wills eye hospital in Philadelphia.
Drs no longer use leeches for treatment ( thanks goodness) The best and most effective ways to block a black eye are much simpler than that. Here's how.
Ledum pal has been found extremely useful when there is extravasation of blood in lids , conjuctiva, contused wounds. It helps in healing by absorbing the blood and stopping further rupture of blood vessels and capillaries by causing natrual constriction of blood vessels.
Pack in ice.Cold works in Two ways. It helps keep the sweeling down and constricts the blood vessels, helps decrease the internal bleeding, which is what causes the black and blue colour.
Dr, Jeffers recommends applying an ice pack for the first 24 to 48 hours. If your eye is swollen shut, use it for ten minutes every 2 hrs the first day, he advised to make an ice pack for the eye, put crushed ice in a plastic bag and tape it to the forehead. This will prevent putting pressure on the eye.
Start on Arnica and Ledum pal

It is vescular eczema with chronic and recurrent lesions affecting especially the palms and soles. Here the oedema fluid accumulates to form visible vesicles or bullae. Because of the thick epidermis in these sites, the blisters tend to become larger than in other body areas before they burst.
This condition was also called dyshidrotic eczema due to its supposed ( though false) connection with sweat gland activity, since it is known to get worse in the hot weather.
Causes are hereditary predisposition to this disorder. Stress is also known to play a role in causing and being a result of this skin disorder.
Fully formed lesions show the changes of acute eczema modified the thick, overlying epidermis. The subsequent course is that of a subsiding eczema with hyperkeratosis and epidermal shedding.
Pompholyx is seen to specially affect adults before 40 years of age. But rarely in children below 10 years of age.
There is sudden onset of crops of clear deep seated, sago like, usually symmetrical vesicles, with intense itching. There is no redness of the part but a sensation of heat and prickling of palms,before attacks .The vesicles can coalesce and present as large bullae, especially on the feet. Diarrhoea is the frequnt and repeated of stool or liquid bowel movements, excessive watery evacuation of faecal material.
Causes
There are many causes which canbe divided into major categories,
Infectious and non infectious.
Infectious causes of diarrhoea are a result of abnormal microorganism invading the bowel. Non infectious causes of diarrhoea result from disturbance of the normal function of the bowel in absorbing fluids contained within it.

Hirschsprung disease is an abnormal condition present at birth which is due to the absence of normal nerves ( ganglia) in the bowel wale. This results in enlargement of the bowel above the point of missing nerves.
At times, new born babies and Infants suffer from physiological diarrhoea due to the gastrocolic reflux which is normal.Such conditions include passage of frequent formed stool or stools immediately after feeds. An exclusively breast fed baby often passes frequent watery stools which is golden yellow in colour and non offinsive, inspite of passing several stools he is happy, hungry and gains good weight. But if there is mucous or the stools are offinsive and the baby is not looking well then medical intervention is required.
Some Homoeopathic medicines
Podophyllum This is very well suited to Infants with a bilious tendency, it is indicated when stools are watery, yellowish, green profuse and with a jelly like substance in it . At times there is billous vomiting along with diarrhoea accompanied by a lot of rumbling and shifting pain in the stomach because of flatus, which makes the abdomen full like a balloon.( It is especially useful in teething diarrhoea of children)
Podophyllum 200 ,3 pills one hourly should be given for acute attacks till it settles the stomach. Then follow with Podophyllum 30 , five pills four times a day for a month to improve the infant's digestion.
Nat Sul This is indicated when a diarrhoea is due to eating fruits, vegetables, cold food and drinks in rainy season. Normally the Child suffers from morning diarrhoea that settles down by noon. The urge to pass a stool drives the Child out of bed initially there is rumbling and gurgling in the bowels with sudden noisy spluttering greenish stools.
Nat Sul 200 , 3 pills every three hours should be given. Once the attack settles down then Nat Sul 30 , five pills four times a day for a month is necessary to improve and help digestion.
Ars alb Here the diarrhoea is accompanied by severe vomiting is due to food poisoning. There's great restlessness with intense thirst for water. But after drinking water it's again vomited out. The stool is blackish watery, very offinsive and worse at night to.
Ars alb 200 , five pills two hourly will bring the attack'under control. The greatest threat to the life of a child with severe diarrhoea comes from deydration. The loose watery stools drain out Water plus valuable chemicals and minerals from the body. Such substances as sodium, chloride and potassium are essential for the regulation of the body's fluid and acid base balances. If diarrhoea continues and is unchecked severe illness or even death will result from ensuring dehydration and the acidosis that accompanies it.
Signs of dehydration
Decrease in the amount of urine. The looks dark yellow or light brown.
Loss of usual elastic quality of the skin.
Sunken eye balls
Rapid breathing
Drowsiness or even unconsciousness.
To prevent dehydration continuously give sips of boiled water with a pinch of a salt sugar and lime 90 percent of dehydration is prevented by salt sugar lime Water.

Cold allergies in monsoon.

Sneezing, itching, weeping, wheezing, coughing almost three fourth people suffer from this problem during monsoon.
Allergies all result from a characteristic in the immune system which normally serves to protect our bodies from microscope foreign invaders. The defect in question is a tendency to overact to foreign substances such as pollens that otherwise would be utterly harmless.
Here is an outline of what happens when an allergic reaction to pollen takes place.
A pollen grain lands on the membrane of the nose or lungs if a person is allergic then antibodies that recocnize these particular foreign molecules are in the neighborhood. They attack themselves to a particular type of defense cell called a mast cell.
The antibodies get stuck to the foreign molecules.
Now a network of antibodies attacking the pollen is formed which activates the mast cell. The mast cell then release the histamine which produces the symptoms of allergy.
Histamine causes the itching, it also makes the tiny blood vessels dilute and becomes leaky hence the sweeling and redness associated with allergies. The itching, running nose and sneezing of hay fever are mainly produced by histamines.
The basic course of events and its variants are responsible for allergic reactions why so many people get colds in the monsoon or exposure to moist wind while others get eczema. These differences in reaction pattern are not understood.
A combination of factors cause allergies.
Inherited ( generic) tendency.
Exposure to a molecule which acts an allergen.
Mental stress.
Sneezes are triggered by dust, pollen or any irritant particle that settles in sensitive mucus membrane of the nose, which is richy supplied by nerves
These membranes react by sending signals to the respiratory centre that is located at the base of the brain. Almost immediately, the signals are sent to the muscles involved in breathing causing the subject first to inhale, and then closed the airways and use respiratory muscles to squeeze the chest. When the air in the lungs is under high pressure, the airways suddenly open, expeling the irritant from its pathways. The air in the lungs virtually explodes upward and onward carrying everything in its path.. Each sneeze may contain about 5000 droplets and unless a hand or a handkerchief intervenes, some of this material which may be infections can travel as far as 12 feet.

Mild fever is associated with chill, body ache and restlessness. Body ache is worse on lying down therefore get up and start walking up and down.

Epilepsy

Epilepsy means a tendency to have seizers and a symptom of brain disease where there are periodical changes in the neurological function, which is often accompanied by alterations in consciousness due to excessive, abnormal, electrical impulses from the nerve cells within the brain.The epileptic seizures are divided into generalized seizures or partial seizures.In generalized seizures ( grand mal) the patient gets an aura that is followed by loud crying, biting of his own tounge, increased salivation or deveops froth at mouth, there may be violent jerking of limbs he , he may urinate or defecate and there can be resultant sudden loss of consciousness with total loss of memory for the attack. The petit amal type of eilepsy is the one that is usually seen in small children with complaints of cessation of mental activity for a few seconds, without loss of consciousness and without the patient realizing what had happened. These are also termed as absence attacks, where the person or the child becomes absent from his surrounding for a brief period of time and any movements of the lid, lip and tounge are possible. Continuous convulsive movements without any epileptic free Periods and without the patient regaining awareness between the attacks, usually lasting for more than twenty four hours is called as status epilepticus.
The patient usually comes with a history of involuntary urination and defecation, head injury, high fever labor, metabolic disorders ( hypoglycemia, hypocalcaemia, hyponatremia, hypomagnesemia, renal failure) certain drugs ( Pencillin isoniazid. Antimalarial, cyclosporin , phenothiazine, tricyclics, lignocaine etc) tumor, hydrocephalus infections ( menigitis, encephalopathy) cerebrovascular accidents multiple sclerosis SLE or excessive intake of alcohol.
An epileptic patient is not allowed to drive, cycle or swim and not allowed to work near fire, machinery or water, since the patient can get an attack at any time And any place. The patient should take only a shallow bath, without locking the door of and that too when someone is present in the home. The patient should be assured that a normal life is possible, along with medications.
During an attack, put the patient in a semi prone position with head low and roll the patient onto any side to the secretions flow out of the mouth, instead of it getting aspirated into the lungs and leading to further complications. Ensure that the airway is clear. Pressing the tounge down with the help of a spoon is necessary to prevent a tounge bite and is also useful to prevent the Fallin back of the tounge ( leading to respiratory obstruction) . For convulsions that occur in small children immerse the legs of the Child in hot Water for five to ten minutes after which if the attack goes away, the child should be wiped dry. If the child is not better or if the attack occurs again, follow the same procedure again and also apply some cold water simultaneously to the head of the Child.
The person who had an epileptic attack may occasionally be drowsy and confused for about half an hour to one hour and should not be left alone until he has recovered completely. If the convulsions continue for more than five minutes or if it recurs without the person getting conscious, one needs immediate medical attention.
Treatment
In case of sudden seizures hot red skin glaring eyes Belladonna 30 c potency
Absinthium 30 C Potency is useful remedy for petit and grand mal epilepsy where the nervous tremors precede the epileptic attack also sudden giddiness with hallucinations followed by loss of consciousness.
For epileptic convulsions that are worse during pregnancy worse during menses foaming of the mouth and locked jaw Oenanthe crocata 200 Potency.
Artemisia vulgaris 200 Potency for petit mal type especially in children and in young girls after fright or other violent emotions worse at puberty and during menses.
Concussion of brain with head turn or twisted to one side and also bending of the head neck and spine backwards and the patient is violent with moaning and howling Cicuta Vir 200 Potency.
For convulsive and spasmodic affection brought on by fright where the patient complaints of nausea and an aura in the knee that ascends upwards followed by uncounciousness foaming at mouth convulsions begins in the fingers and toes Cuprum met 200
