Pituitary tumour

Pituitary gland is a pea size gland at the base of brain. The pituitary is the master control gland,  it makes hormones of other glands in the body it grow slowly do not spread and is usually not cancerous. The most common type of pituitary tumour produces hormones and disrupts the balance of hormones in the body. This can cause endocrine diseases, such as Cushing's syndrome and hyperthyroidism, symptoms are
Headache
Vision problems
Nausea and vomiting
Any of the problems caused by the production of too many hormones. Pituitary tumours are usually curable.

Pituitary gland tumours.... Sometimes called Adenomas, are usually bengin (non cancerous). Symptoms can be caused by a tumour producing, extra hormones or by not producing enough hormones. Others symptoms can be caused by the tumour pressing on the optic (eye) nerve.
Patients suffering from pituitary gland tumour may experience the following symptoms. Patients with a pituitary gland tumour do not have any of these changes, or, the  cause of a Symptom may be a different medical condition that is not a pituitary gland tumour.
Headache
Vision problems
Unexplained tiredness
Irritability
Changes in menstrual cycles in women.
Impotence, which is the inability to achieve or maintain an erections in men and is caused by hormone changes.
Inappropriate breasts growth or production of breast milk.
Cushing's syndrome,  a combination of weight gain, high blood pressure, diabetes, and easy bruising that is caused by over producing of ACTH.
Acromegaly, enlargement of the extremities or limbs and thickening of the skull and jaw caused by too much growth hormone.
Growth hormone. The symptoms depend on a patient's age, in children, before the bone plates have closed, increased growth can cause gigantism which is excessive body size and height. In adults, increased growth hormone causes Acromegaly a syndrome that includes excessive growth of soft tissues and bones, sleep apnea, increased snoring, carpal tunnel syndrome, and pain, including headache.
Thyroid stimulating hormone
(TSH )  too much TSH causes increased production of thyroid hormone. This can lead to nervousness and irritability, fast heart rate and high blood pressure, heart disease, increased sweating, thin skin and weight loss..
Prolactin
Too much prolactin, a hormone that stimulates lactation and the secretion of progesterone, causes inappropriate secretion of breasts milk, even in men. It can also cause osteoporosis, which is weaking of the bones, loss of sex drive, infertility, irregular menstrual cycle and Impotence..
Adrenocorticotropic hormone.
Too much this hormone causes weight gain, high blood pressure and high blood sugar, stretch marks on skin.
Gonadotropins (FSH and LH) 
These are usually not high enough to cause symptoms but can, in rare cases, cause infertility and irregular menstrual cycles in women.
TSH low causes fatigue, low energy sensitivity to cold temperatures constipation and weight gain.
ACTH  too little of this hormone causes fatigue and low energy low blood pressure low sugar levels and upset stomach.
Homoeopathic medicines
Thyriodinum 3 x or 6 x thrice a
day excessive activity of the pituitary gland and fibroids tumours in the pituitary gland.
Hekla lava tumour of the pituitary gland.
Tuberculinum  A dose of 200 potency should be given at the disease commencement of the treatment. This will arrest the disease and cure the headache which is so common in pituitary tumour.
Calc carb Headache with vertigo on turning the head. Heaviness and painful pressure extending into the nose stitching pain in the brain.
Calc flour and Cal phos these both must be tried when Calc carb fails.

Mere iod  it arrests and absorbs bony brain pituitary tumour.
Kali iod  Light the pain through the sides of the head over the eyes and nose.
