The body is making an effort to maintain internal stability.This process is called Homoeostasis . The body will do everything it can to return to stability if this state is altered . Asthmatic may be on broncho dilators and cortisones . They cannot stop taking these drugs all of sudden because not even Homoeopathy can work miracles overnight. The patient may need emergency treatment and the Homoeopath may not be available. Besides, since a patient has taken those for so many years.,  no harm can come from him continuing with them for a few more days or weeks, till his system gets adjusted to the Homoeopathic drugs. The sudden withdrawal effect of very potent drugs can be extremely harmful and it should be done very systematically and step by step.
In the case of hypertension too, the same rule applies. Once the blood pressure starts going down, the drugs can be withdrawn gradually.
In acute illnesses like very fever antipretics like Paracetamol ( crocin or metacin) are given to help control the fever for a few hours, and once the infection comes under control by Homoeopathic drugs these,( allopathic drugs) are not needed to bring in complete relief through Homoeopathic drugs, however if you are being treated homoeopathically you should not take another Homoeopathic medicine at the same time without first consulting your Homoeopath.
