Carpel tunnel syndrome

The carpel tunnel is a narrow passageway on the palm side of the0 wrist made up of bones and ligaments. The median nerve, which controls sensation and movement in the thumb and first three fingers, runs through this passageway along with tendons to the fingers and thumb.. However if, the tunnel swells, pressure and inflammation will affect the inner nerve causing severe pain, and tingling or numbing sensations.
This nerve related disorder plaques three times more adult women than men, particularly those who type for long periods of time or perform assembly can be temporary, but often times it's the result of repetitive stress that gradually persists and worsen.
Signs and symptoms.
Numbness or tingling sensations in the hand and wrist. The condition affects the median nerve most severely, which is located in the thumb, index, middle and fourth fingers of each hand. This may seem similar to pins and needles.
All the condition worsen, the numbness may be overcome by what other patients described as shooting pains or burning and cramping of the hand, forearm and or wrist. This pain come on suddenly and shoots upto hand, wrist and forearm.
Hand cramps, which can affect the palms fingers wrist and forearm are both irritating and extremely painful. The best way to restore normal sensation is to shake and massage the fingers, palms and wrist to ease the cramps.
